This replaced an old, crude Ryobi scroll saw that was just unpleasant to use.
The Bucktool 16", unless you have to have a larger one, is the cream of their crop, with a double parallel link pivoting arm, dust collection and a large steel finished table. VERY smooth in operation.
On arrival mine had a somewhat caved in side panel; however that doesn't affect it structurally and it still holds the open accessory storage box (that should have a closure to keep stuff inside). The tiny bolts that are supposed to hold the dust hood hinge do not fit. I attached it with equally tiny self-tapping sheet metal screws, and would recommend that anyway.
This is an excellent saw, and my giving 4 stars is only because of these minor quality control issues, which do not in any way affect the saw's performance.
This is my third Bucktool belt sander. This thing is built like a tank. It's the best 2X48 at this price point. Ton's of power, the tracking adjustment is well designed, easy to adjust and accurate. Two things I would change one, the work table could be bigger. I modified mine and installed a larger steel table. (Very easy to do) Two, the platen is too wide at the work table. If you're trying to grind behind the belt which is helpful, there is a half inch on either side of the belt that obstructs you from doing that. (The platen is well made) I'm going to mill the platen about an inch up from the worktable to the width of the belt. Other than those items this belt grinder is rock solid in my opinion and would definitely buy again.

I did a lot of researching when i was looking for a good bench top drill press, and after my research, i decided this tool was the answer. I have not been dissapointed, it has done all I asked of it! The only problem with it is that when i turn the LED on, it wants to flicker, but usually stops after a few seconds. That may be someting a little loose, I just wish I knew what to do about it.

Easy to put together (though instructions were less than minimal). Works great. Filtration is fine at 2 micron. Honestly I'm very old school, broom and dust pan for 60 years, but with a new Powermatic table saw, Woodpeckers router table and my older band saw I thought I'd get a dust extractor. The design is great with a metal cage style impeller that won't get damaged by larger pieces. The suction is more than sufficient for my workflow since I can only use one tool at a time. This will be a good addition and save on clean up time. The remote will also be very handy (battery included).
Polisher itself is great. High quality tool. Good bit of kit. But they use a 5/16-13 thread which is custom and pretty much unforgivable. I have a lathe to cut custom threads for adapters but cmon guys.
This is my first purchase of a drill press for my garage. I’m very happy with it. I do hobby woodworking and this drill press is perfect for my needs. It is very solid and I’m able to do the drilling I want to do.
Ordered a tube of honing compound for $5.00 and expected a shipping fee for more than the cost of the compound. Surprise, no shipping fee! love the BuckTool SCM 8103. Very heavy built machine.

I purchased this from Buck Tools because I have previously purchased a Buck Scroll Saw and a Buck 4 inch belt Sander X 8 inch disk Sander. All three of the Buck products run very smooth and they are very well built. I found the price on the Buck tools to be very good compared to other products and they are packed very well for shipment
Was looking for a sander/grinder combo to do various things, like sharpening drill bits & mower blades at an affordable price.
This thing has some Quality to it & works just Wonderful.
I finally decided to step up from a 1/3 horsepower and opted for the bucktool 3/4 horse for doing metal work and knife work. so far I've been extremely happy. in fact, I was just using it today to grind down some pieces and it didn't flinch in the least. it just cranked away and did not wander across workbench either. extremely happy with my purchase. I wish I had purchased the dust collector hoses with it cuz my adaptation wasn't very effective but that's on me. absolutely recommend this.
Great Sander. Use it alot
I had to weld a steel plate on top of the back plate behind the belt because the curved edge on the left side ruins the plunge grind on a knife. The back plate should be flat on both edges. Otherwise I love it!
The variable speed capability of this sander is what makes it better than others on the market along with the price point. It works great for the small intricate wooden jewelry pieces that I create and being able to adjust the speed makes it easy to work with small pieces. 10/10 recommend.
I immediately put this unit through the paces and it held up without faltering. I’m very pleased.
My only complaint is the assembly instructions could have been clearer. It took much longer than it should have and I ended up just having to figure it out on my own.
I haven’t done a lot with it yet but I’m excited to deeper dive. I got it to polish rocks and it’s handling what I’ve done so far.

Sander was delivered quickly. Unpackaging and set up was easy. I used it for some sanding work and the disc sander worked well but the belt sander, in verticle orientation, had a vibration to it. I believe it is because the platform of the belt sander is only supported on 1 side instead of both sides like the disc sander is. Other than that, the direct drive allow you to put pressure to do the sanding without any slipping. It will fulfill what I needed this sander for.
